| since I've owned it (purchased on Feb. 3, 1996 with 7,400 miles on it) it would run too hot on hot summer days with AC on, or when I ran at high speed/RPM for extended periods of time. While one time the over-heating was due to a leaking water pump and the cooling system did not hold coolant, usually the problem was due to poor air flow through the AC Condenser & radiator. I have found it necessary to pull the radiator several times to clean out the air passages in the AC Condenser, the Radiator and the oil intercooler. I take plastic or wood "pokers" and straighten out the fins; I use a garden hose to force water from the engine side to clean out the AC condenser; I take the radiator to a car wash and spray through the radiator to help clean it out and I have use an air-hose to clean out the fins. Each time doing the above has fixed the problem of the engine running too hot under the driving conditions described above. Usually I would not see any problems for 2 or 3 years after doing the above. I have also replaced the thermostat each time I was in the area (on 3rd T-Belt, 2nd water pump for example) so typically, the over-heating problems for my 94TT were not due to a cooling system component failing (just due to general deterioration of the cooling system - air flow). Good luck, Jim
