:Good news!. I think the battery was drained, or I drained it when I was cranking the engine. I let it charged to approx 61 percent then tried cranking the engine over. It did started but I noticed it was having a hard time going to idle..however before it died again, the battery light kept coming on/off. Its probably the battery I hope.... hoping the alternator didnt die all of sudden!. Since I just bought the Z it has not been on the road for over 1 month. It has been sitting with the alarm on. I wonder if the battery was too weak to supply current, but then again, the alternator should have kicked in when the car started???

Man, I feel like a total idiot!! Newbies , take heed! So you will not make the same mistake as I.

I am far from a shade tree mechanic, however, as many of you, I simply love my Z.. hence I try to do whatever work I can with it.

You guys wanna know the reason why car didnt want to idle? even although it started it once for about 15 seconds?

I followed the FAQ on cleaning the throttle body. Once I was done cleaning it, I didnt hook up the hoses back onto the throttle body. You know, the hoses that comes from the air filter. Its either coincidential, or the hoses must be hooked up to the throttle body in order for the car to idle? Once I did, the car started up and kept on going.

Weird eh?
