While you are correct in that no two Z are exactly alike in tuning characteristics the JWT programs are known and proven to be safe for all Z's. Maybe you will be getting the slightly less performance due to the program being overly rich but then again you won't be risking your motor either. Thats why if you want something more in tune with your own vehicle you seek out the pros for a custom tune.
This is no small adjustment your are trying to make, you are completely trying to adjust an ecu for injectors that are 50% larger. You won't be able to accurately do that in my opinion. Listen to the people on this site, search, and read. There is no way the thousands of people that have been here for years could be wrong. Anyone here running serious power is running a custom tune and not tuning with SAFC's. If they have AFC's they are probably only using it to run their dual pops or very slight adjustments. But it is your vehicle and if you want to try something new and different I and everyone else would sure like to know how it turns out... You could be the first and be famous! Or maybe just a lesson for the next person considering this idea. Either way you will be serving the Z community :) Good luck
