Message	based on deflection with about 20 lbs load at the center of the span between the pullies as noted in the service manual. You don't want to over tighten since that will excessively side load the bearings and contribute to early failure of the bearings. Here is the on line service manual that you can search in for the specs. Look under maintenance.
