Message Hello
I have a 1990 300zx no turbo.
I was in the process of changing the water pump and my crank jumped 5 teeth and I took it to the dealer and they said I have 190 lbs of pressure in bank one but EVERY cylinder in Bank 2 has ZERO compression. The dealer adjusted my timing belt to put it back in align and stated that same compression results. He said that he believe the intake valves are bent but what doesn't make sense to me is how all 3 cylinders of bank 2 (driver side) could be bent. The car ran perfect before I change the water pump but when I put it back together and tried to start it it never started.
I haven't started to tear it down to see what the damage is.

Dealer said that I need a new engine $9000. Not an option Dealer said they would rebuild it $4500, not an optin they said $2000 for a usage engine. I'll repair it myself but currently it is at the dealer because I thought it was a minor electrical problem.

Dealer sated that I was 5 teeth off on the timing belt. when he went to adjust it.

Question #1
Does this make sense that every cylinder in bank 2 would have NO COMPRESSION? The fireing order would be opisite?

Question #2
Do you think the CAM on Bank two might be broke?

Question #3
Any other ideas?
Thanks for your help I'm out o town so its not really easy for me to tear this apart.
