I can't think of any other reason for this, that's why i assume head gasket. I have a rebuild engine that i've been working on for some time now. I had it running in March and the engine was great, only problem was the VTC gears so i put the car down while i upgraded those and it got prolonged with my summer college classes. This past week i finished the job and took it for an easy drive to make sure power steering worked, clutch worked, just overall good performance. Everything seemed fine, i only went about 5 miles away. On my way back the car began to run on three cylinders less than a hundred yards from my house. I thought it would be a vacuum leak and i found a hose that had blown off so i resecured that. And i thought that the plugs may be wet so when i went to pull them there was water in the #1 and #3 cylinders. So that's why i assume head gasket right? Nothing else could do this right? But what could have caused the head gasket to blow? Thanks
