Message Yeah I'm definitely not driving it right now. Luckily I was able to commandeer a van from work until the weekend.
Took the fan and fan clutch off this evening and started it up for a bit and it's still making goofy noises.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the car was making the jet engine noise under acceleration common to the fan clutch failing and I just had that stuck in my head. So I'll be replacing that thing too. Guess I'd better figure out how to get to that water pump.

I'd imagine that I'm going to find the pump I had replaced as part of the 60k maintenance over a year ago isn't an OEM part. So here's another big question: If I'm going to the trouble of changing the water pump should I do the full 60k routine again while I'm at it? I've only put about 15k miles on the car since the maintenance.
