So I have the GT600R Turbo kit and i called Z1 and they told me I don't need a gasket to mate the turbo inlet to the turbo inlet pipe because it has in O-Ring in the center. The stock turbo is metal to metal with a gasket. My question is, should there still be a gap between the two mating surfaces with the two bolts properly torqued down? I have them at a little more than 30ftlbs and im sure the seal is getting smashed but the metal surfaces don't touch. Is this normal and is there anyway to test the seal?
