i've had multiple requests to fix the links on this post so here goes to remove the old wing i followed the faq, removed the interior trim pieces and nuts, gentle prying and weedearter string to cut through old mounting tape
this left several holes in the hatch which were not needed anymore, so i filled them with silcone and plugs to prevent water leakage
you must drill the new wing to accept the third brake light
this is the forward attachment hole for the wing, it is a bitch
the phillips head screw for the wing goes through this hole, to accomodate the screwdriver and to allow for adjustment of the angle of the screwdriver you must drill a hole on the inside of the hatch opposite the hole
to prevent the screw/washer from falling inside the hatch, i tied a piece of fishing line to them and fed them through the hole

this is the size of the hole that i drilled
fairly large but must allow freedom of movement for angle of phillips head screw

the new wing has a groove for the mounting tape the 3M tape which i bought was about as thick as the groove was deep
so i put one piece of mounting tape on top of the first layer and it was just the correct thickness
then threaded the string/screw/washer through the hole and mounted the wing
