Subject	dropped catalytic converter damaged?

Message	I had my test pipes and new exhaust installed. The mechanic had to separate the exhaust from the downpipe to the main cat. While removing the back end of the exhaust, the main cat fell down 6 feet crashing to the floor. Would this have caused any internal damage to the cat?
