Message I try to reiterate this every time it's asked. You have air waaaaay down the line, so even once you fill it and top it off you've still got a ways to go. Lock to lock for 5 minutes solid with the car running (say 50 times) oughta get it mostly done. Oh and you don't need the car in the air; my guess is on the ground is better cause you'll be creating the pressure it sees during use.

Once you think you're done, make sure you're turning it against the bump stops at each end (highest pressure...you'll hear it if it's not bled sufficiently). Even then, you'll want to top it off after a ride around town to bump things around, then after a day or two, and again after about a week.
