| Is a very very very long story. But basically I rebuilt the shortblock, put everything else together, and could not get oil pressure. I overfilled the thing (put in 12 quarts) and let it sit over night. I cranked it next morning until I got oil pressure. (Which wasn't long at all) Drained the oil. Put in the correct amount. Tried to start the car and had other problems. When I pulled the engine again, I noticed oil in the downpipes. (Both sides) I also noticed oil on the other side too. So oil getting out both ways apparently. But overfilling alone can not cause this. To my understanding, oil had to have passed by the seals. Period. I haven't removed drivers side turbo yet, but I can see oil dripping from the bolt, plus oil is in the piping pooled up. I have a picture here that shows the passenger side turbo. But the equilavent piece on the driver side is full of oil. (Well, it's got oil pooled in it which you can see if you shine a flashlight down it....as it is still all attached on that side of block for now. URL only since I can't figure out how to make image post quickly LOL.
