in the radiator, not water in the oil. (this was discussed within the last week, you might flip back and look at that) It's a simple test at any auto shop, they test at the radiator cap. Some say it's not 100% reliable, but it still seems to me to be the first logical step, before drasining your oil to look for water, which also is not 100% reliable. If you diagnose and describe exactly when it overheats and when it doesn't, (at idle, punching it vs cruising at 50 vs cruising at 90, A/C on/off, etc), others will be better able to help you.
