Subject	Detonation Sensor Relocation?

Message	I removed my EGR and dont want to keep my knock sensor in its current unreachable position. I was wondering if I could relocate the knock sensor to one of the holes that the EGR had previously occupied in the back of the engine in the lower manifold near the top of the block. What do you all think? It would make it easy to clean the connection and replace if it goes bad without having to jack the engine out again.
