Message	antifreeze doesn't really help the system cool better. while antifreeze is beneficial for raising the BP and its corrosion inhibitors, it actually decreases the ability of the system to reject heat. A system with 100% antifreeze will be less efficient than a system with 100% water because water has a higher heat carrying capacity. That is why it is best to run the minimum amount of antifreeze needed in order to maximize the performance of the cooling system.
