Subject	dead battery?

Message	My car won't crank over. I have to wiggle the positive terminal wire for the dummy lights to come on, but when i turn the key to turn to car on it won't crank and then the dummy lights turn off. The process then repeats itself. I jumped the car last night so I'm thinking the starter is ok? I just charged the battery last night, what could be wrong?
