Subject	dying boost controller?

Message	Ok, so basically my car will be able to boost normally and hit 1 bar on some days and other days it won't even hit .6 bar going through the whole rpm band. Is this a sign my boost controller is starting to fail? I mean, I don't think anything mechanically is wrong, correct?
