-As far as the exhaust goes,
I would install a dual exit system. From your description, it looks like you have 2 seperate catbacks, and they are both single exit catbacks? If so, the difference is probably just the sound.
They will be interchangeable only if theyre both 2+2 catbacks. 2+0 catback is different.-Intake
Injen is only for N/A Zs.
Take off the nose panel and see whats there.
I believe Injen is both the polished hoses, and an aftermarket filter setup. so yes, better than stock. A JWT single pop filter is the preffered intake by many for Z32s. -Water leak
First you need to figure out where its coming from.
Remove all interior rear pieces and plastic moldings under hatch.
Have someone sit in the hatch of the car with hatch closed while you spray water with a hose etc. from the outside. Pinpoint leak, diagnose, and repair seals/leaks as neccessary.
