I've searched and read a lot of posts regarding this, but I wanted to get someone's current opinion. I've had a stiff steering issue, and I didn't realize how bad it was until I drove another Z yesterday. I installed some ES steering rack bushings last January, and I'm afraid I may have messed something up. However, I'm not sure the steering wasn't that stiff to begin with. The main issue is that the steering feels really stiff at all speeds, but it also has like strange stiffer/looser spots as I turn the steering wheel at every speed. In other words, depending on the position of the steering wheel, there are points where it's harder to turn, and other points where it's easier. At any rate, it's way stiffer than it should be all over. I've read to check the speed sensor, but I have no other speed sensor-related issues, i.e. the speedometer works fine. I had a ps leak for a while that I believe was coming from around where the lines connect to the block or rack, but I tightened the bolts and it hasn't been leaking in about 2 months. Where should I start? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
Cheers, JBrobst
