Message Ignition problems - When I turn the key to the 'On' position I get nothing, not even a click or surge in power. The dash idiot lights, radio and fuel pump do not power on, yet all other accessories do. i.e...Headlights; both high and low beam, hazards, interior dash lights, cabin lights & chimes.

I’ve had the battery charged and load tested. I check all fuses in front of battery and even changed the fusible link, which was not bad. Checked all fuses in the driver kick panel to no avail. I replaced the ignition switch (replaced ignition relay two months ago, plus my experience is that a bad ignition rely\inhibitor will not cause the dash idiot lights, radio accessories and fuel pump to not power on.) I tested the factory alarm sensor and it’s good (dash security light goes off after 30sec of locking the doors. Tonight I’ll replace the EGI & ING rely to see if that fixes it.

I feel that I blew a fuse or rely and just haven’t found it yet. This started last week while trying to leave work arrrr. I did replace the # 5 injector 4 days prior to my ignition problems, but I used the dremel method, so the plenum wasn’t removed. I did check to make sure the ground wire in-between injector # 5 & # 6 was grounded. At this point I’m at a lost, so I’m posting in hopes to get help!

Your experience and comments are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Samuel (Dallas)
