the other night i hit a possom on hwy 6.... i have a greddy fmic... seems to be fine but alot of the fins are now bent... but boosted fine after that. i came home and parked the car decided ild take a look in the mornin... when i look the ENTIRE front half of the bay has burnt blood and small chunks of guts... ( sorry no pics ) but the only thing i cud see is the filter was soaked the pipes looked okay but were stained red from blood burning... i took off and cleaned the intake filter with k&n cleaning kit. reoiled it and when i put it back on the car sounds weird as hell... when i revv it sounds meaner but not normal. the boost is off also i feel much more lag than normal or its just me... i can still hit full 7lbs but it doesnt feel powerful anymore. my friend said possible boost leak... im lost... i looked at all the lines they are hooked up okay but the boost guage doesnt go past -10 not... normally in vacum it will goto -25 and upto 7lbs in boost... but now it wont.
it is a 240sx with type x blacktop sr20det... i know its not a z but i figure some advice is better than none. would really appreciate it. thnx
