Message The Z was sitting for a while since I had some body repair done last fall and through winter (started her once per week, though). Been chasing problems all summer long. Have bypassed a bad knock sensor and fixed all kinds of boost leaks. She seems to run great, but I've still got too much fuel pressure.

~48 psi at idle
~53 psi with Fuel Pressure Regulator vacuum line disconnected
~48 psi with 25 psi vacuum on FPR line

~35 psi at idle is normal. I'm trying to diagnose the FPR at this point but I can't find specs in the factory service manual. Would any TTer check their numbers against these? If your FPR only adjusts 5 psi then I can move on to something else. If ya don't have a vacuum gun, I'd be happy to meet up and we'll use mine.

The fuel dampner is relatively new, the PRVR canister in the driver's side fender is bypassed, and the fuel lines have been blown out from the FPR to the fuel tank. What other things can I check? Which sensors really affect the idle fuel pressure?

Any input accepted at this point. It's time to get her out of the garage!

Thanks,
Ben
