Subject	Can you bypass the taillight sensor?

Message	I lost my break lights last week and determined that this sensor was the culprit. La-Z-Link Having just lost my job I can't afford the $64 to replace the part. I was wondering if there was a way to bypass this part so I have break lights again until replace the sensor.
