I currently have the head off my engine to replace the head gasket, and when I pulled it off one of the intake valves is stuck open. It's the driver's side head and it's the very first valve(from the front of the car). I just had everything rebuilt and all the valves and lifters were moving fine. I don't know what caused it to lock up like it did, but I need to know if there's a way to remove it. I tried grabbing it with a magnet but it won't budge. I have extra lifters I can clean and use if I need to, so really any method anyone may have to remove the lifter is fine by me(as long as it doesn't damage the head).
