Has anyone ever had problems with the hood rattling due to a loose hood hinge? This is completely different from the squeaking that comes from the hood hinge prop or a loose hood latch. It's coming from right at the hood hinge; if I rattle the corner of the hood on the passenger side, it's a bit loose and causes a loud rattle. Upon further inspection, I could tell that the hood hinge rings are actually loose on that hinge. Is replacement my only option, or can it be serviced? And please don't suggest to use lube/grease, as this will not solve my problem. I'm looking more specifically to know if I can use some sort of spacer in between the rings, like a C-ring or something of the sort. Thanks!
