| Whatever is binding up the throttle is simply getting a longer time to stick when you are cruising in 5th gear, with less fluctuations on the gas pedal. The spot Guap mentioned above is a common cause. Let me see if I can find a pic . . .  make sure you check the clearance here on both sides of the throttle bodies. I am holding the throttle open about a third in the pic.
