Message brackets and only states to change it at 60k miles. Now if you convert that to months as it says to do which ever comes first on the top left then you would change it at 60 months. I guess there is some variations from manual to manual but as aliaz as said and you seem to agree there is many circumstance that the FSM does not take into consideration. The Z is kind of a collectable car so many people have a Z with less then 30k on it and the car is now 18 years old does that mean you should run the original timing belt for 36 years because it took you that long to get to 60k miles, NO! I simply am saying from the link techno provided the FSM does show a monthly interval also and in my opinion what does $100 matter versus thousands if you neglect the belt and then you have to repair a motor.

Simply I am saying I rather be safe then sorry and if Techno wants to push it then he is asking for disaster (although it may never happen). We all tend to mod our cars here and that also adds to the stress on the timing belt so there is such a wide range of circumstances that come into play that we all should realize.
