I recently upgraded to a TT after 8 years of owning an NA. I have a 1993 300zx TT, been searching the forums for similar problems and tried all solutions, like cleaning the throttle bodies, wd-40 on the cables, checking for any obstructions in throttle movement... etc. The problem I have is that when I am in 5th gear, the throttle sticks at around 3k, and I have to play with the pedal (aka: desperately stomping the pedal so I will not rear end the car in front of me), to release the throttle to whatever it is binded up to. The thing is though, it only sticks when I go beyond 30% throttle, and... it only happens on fifth gear, all the other gears shift fine, no grinding no problems. The car is all stock. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
