| Good afternoon all. I have 3 questions that need to be adressed :) 1. In nytwolfs plenum pull, under the coolant throttle body hose bypass procedure, theres a part (figure 9) that involves drilliing out connector(s?) on the plenum. Is this neccessary? I dont understand completely, therefore I need ta know :) "Remove the hose connectors from the plenum and throttle bodies. The connectors on the throttle body mechanism can be drilled out. There are pins inside the connector which lock the connector into place. As shown in Figure 9, use a large drill bit, and drill through the hose connector to hit the pin. Use a vacuum cleaner during the drilling process to insure no metal pieces end up inside the plenum. Once the drilling is finished, the metal hose connector can be pulled out." cant i just leave them chilling there>>>??? and.. "The rest of the hose connectors can be cut off with a cutting wheel, bolt cutter, or whatever means you have." 2. Next, I am bypassing the EGR, and wanna remove the EGR solonoid and associated hoses. ( i am keeping the actaul EGR valve in place tho.. just removing the metal tubes and solonoid/vac lines while plenum is out and using the 300 kit to do so) Liquid gasket on the blockoff plates to the plenum or just metal to metal? What all needs to be removed vac. line wise.. and do i need to cap anything off besides the TB hard connection (directly under the TB) 3. Valve cover gaskets are getting replaced, as well as the lock nuts that hold down covers, is there liquid gasket/RTV invovled or just the rubber gasket swap>?? Also, what about the VTC's, I am not removing them. just replacing the valve covers and dont want them to leak when im done! TIA
