tube at the pump. Point the hose into a bucket and turn the key. If you get fuel, the line is blocked after the pump so check the filter. If no fuel at the pump, recheck the wiring. Pull the pump and verify it runs outside the tank for just a second (don't run it dry). If it doesn't you will need to trace down the circuit. Look in the service manual online and scan the wiring diagram. Verify each component. Switch, fuel pump relay, fuses, controller and pump. Don't just pull the fuses and look at them verify they have 12V on both sides when inserted.
I think the way the pump works is it pumps a small burst when you turn the key to prime the system but does not kick on full time till the engine starts. So if you get "a weak stream; and then, nothing" it may not be the fuel pump at all. If it cranks but won't fire most often it comes down to corroded connectors on the PTU or the CAS.
