Message While you have the engine out:

Replace the Timing Belt
Timing Belt Idler pully
Timing Belt Tensioner pully
Remove the oilpan (carefully) and clean any sludge buildup
Replace the front main, and rear main seals
Remove the EGR valve and replace or clean as necessary

As for painting:

When you sand make sure to remove all old clearcoat before respraying. It is possible to just reclear the car, but it is advised to add at a minimum of 2 coats of color since the color oxidizes over time and will look faded. When you shoot a clear coat it's a good idea to shoot at a minimum of 4 coats so you have room to high speed buff, and polish. High speed buffing is dangerous if you are inexperienced, you can very easily burn your fresh clearcoat job if you don't properly buff the car. I hope this helps. If I left anything out guys, give me a hand. Thanks
