Message I've chased this problem around now for three weeks including trying another good fuel pump to be for certain and it wasn't the cause of the issue. Here goes...
Mildly modified TT/AT with 720cc injectors and Ashspec ECU, upgraded 600 turbos, whole 9 yards etc. Problem: Car was running fine, starting, idling, accelerating, etc., until one day it decides to completely stop running (while coasting to a stoplight). Toe car home because wont stay running.
Start car back up, runs good for about 7-8 secs then fuel pressure slowly dies from ~35psi to about 10psi before stalling. No codes from ECU, filter is new, fuel pump replaced with known good working, voltage at fuel pump stays consistent all the way to stall, no fuses blown, water temp sensor swapped with known good working, battery pulled to reset cpu (several times now), and fuel pressure regulator swapped with known good working. My question, what left is there to check? I'm completely at a loss [again]. Anybody have this problem before? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
I'm looking at pulling the engine again for some cosmetic work but dont want to get too extensive without knowing it WAS running good before pulling to minimize variables. Thanks guys!
