1990 TT. Driving to work the engine got "rough". I found the #5 injector ohming at over 30.I replaced the injector (with one ohming at ~13). That didn't make the car run smoother so I replaced the highly fragile and corroded connectors (injector and coil) for that cylinder...it still isn't runing smooth. While idling, when I pull the connector to the coil/plug for the #5 cylinder NOTHING happens (idle does NOT get worse)...which means that cylinder is still not firing. Can I check the electical with the electrical pulses to the coil and the injector while the engine is idling witout damaging the electronics? How do I use my multi-meter to see if the injector and the coil/plug are getting signals? What should I be looking for? Thanks
