How did you determine that it is your fuel system is cutting out and not your ignition/spark? The fuel system is pretty solid setup, i personally haven't heard of a fuel pump gone bad on these cars yet. I suggest that you do the following. 1) Determine 100% whether it is fuel or ignition that is causing the problem. 2) If it is the fuel delievery system, I would start with the wiring that plug on the fuel pump plate on the fuel tank, check the connection to make sure it is not corroded, they can give you this sympton. 3) Definitely not a fuse, as if it is a fuse, it will not work at all, no matter what the conditions are (temperature....) 4) I would lean more towards spark that is intermittent which can be cause by a common failure such as the power transistor(PTU) which have been seen many times to intermittently fail. This module is located on the left timing cover, get it tested.(there are two types, one that has an aluminum casing 1990-1993, and one that is smaller in size but black in color, 1994-1996, the earlier generation is well known to go bad. 5) Also, the CAS (Camshaft angle sensor), located on the front right timing cover, could cause that, but they rearly go bad, but they do... Good luck, Rafi
