Message I've already inspected the battery and the connections pretty thoroughly, and everything checks out, although, couldn't hurt to do it again and I'll make sure to check specifically for the white and black wires' conditions. Thanks.

Ok, a little more info on the situation.

The car had an aftermarket alarm system that was removed when it was parked 5 months ago, the alarm included a remote start. The control module was removed, but all the wires were left in there, some were cut. I didn't perform the removal myself, it was a friend that was helping me prep the car for storage, and we decided that we would remove the system due to it malfunctioning in the past.

I know that removing the remote start module would break the loop needed to get power to the ignition. Today Brandon (91 Dubbed Out Buggy) and I reinstalled the remote start. There are a couple of wires that are still hanging lose, that we cannot find a connection mate for, including one that is hot.

We thought that we would just need to find where the hot wire connects in order to complete the loop and we would get the power back to the ignition. While we haven't successfully completed the loop, we've also found that the ECU is not getting power, which seems to be a bigger problem than the remote start control module.

The battery is fine, it's generating power, as the tester and the moving power seats suggest.

We just gave up, and Brandon headed home after we 6 hours under the dash, trying to get everything back together. I am a bit discouraged, but I feel like we're very close. Anyone know why the ECU/Ignition wouldn't be getting power?

Thanks again.

-Eric
