Subject	Need help removing a stripped transmission drain plug.

Message	I bought a 91 TT a few months ago and while changing all the fluids in the car I found out that the previous owner had stripped out the drain plug. I was still able to change the fluid by using a pump with a bit of hose to suck out as much fluid as I could through the fill plug. However, I would really like to be able to get the plug out so I can get rid of the metal shavings that collect on the plug as well as put a new one in. Not sure if you can tell from the pic but it is to the point where the 1/2 inch ratchet just spins. The plug is such soft material and it seems like it was torqued way beyond specs.
