Message	it won't blow as cold as R-12 unless you gut the TSV. The purpose of the R142b is to make it compatible with the mineral oil that is used in R-12 systems. If you have a leak, the R142b will leak out first because it is lighter than R-134a. This will cause your compressor to seize from lack of lubrication. Also, compressor warranties are void with all refrigerant blends.
