Subject	How many "pumps" to bleed brake fluid?

Message	I searched and didn't find specific answer. I recently flushed the brake fluid in the system and was wondering: Did I get all the old fluid out? and Did I waste too much? I have one way check valve so I flushed the fluid myself and couldn't always tell when the fluid turned clear. Does anyone know the min and max pumps to ensure complete flush at each bleed nipple?
