Thanks for the tips, I realize that the belt runs over the sprocket. I should have been a little more specific. I'm curious as to if you can secure the rest of the assembly some way so as to not disturb the timing alignment and then slip the belt off the sprocket, pull the sprocket off, line up the marks on the new one, bolt it on, and slip the belt back on. As I mentioned I've never done the belt before (but am still a ways before another scheduled change) so I may be way off here, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask those who have.
