I live in Arizona and for those that don't live here it gets pretty hot (understatement). Pretty much anything air cooled won't survive in our summer heat. And with the z's barely sufficient liquid cooling system it tends to complicate things that much more. Anyways, my z has been raising temp to 3/4 to the top of the gauge when I accelerate at lights and come to a stop at the next. I'm not gunning it at the light either. I recently did a complete overhaul on the system in the winter in preparation to the heat which included a new water pump, fan, nismo thermostat, koyo rad, nismo rad cap,z1 hard pipe and silicone hoses. My question is, will a overdrive water pump pulley help with my overheating issue? I know idle rpms are barely sufficient, even with the fan clutch fully engaged. Also, is the overdrive wp pulley primarily used in corelation with the crank OD pulley? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
