I have code 21 error code on the ECU, i know why i have the code. I have installed MAPECU2 which splices in to the coil signals so i have full control over the timing. My question is this: the car runs fine, i know the ecu goes into safety boost but does the ecu use another timing map? if so i will have to install some resistors to fix the code. If not i will use as is, the oem knock sensor has been bypassed as im using the knock function on the MAPECU2 to retard the timing when knock is detected, so knock maps are not of any concern.
