| Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have had similiar problems and how you fixed it. I've been searching but haven't really found anything that has helped. I'm going to get my car tuned by Ash next week, and i'm trying to get it to run as best as possible before taking it to him. I'll walk you through whats been going on with the car and what i've been doing. I originally had a dual pop set-up with the jim wolf reprogrammed ecu and I was having a ton of problems with that so ash sent me a different program to run on one filter for the time being. I have been going through the 6p's post but haven't had a chance to check my fuel pressure, even though i think its fine since my fuel pump was replaced a few months ago. When I pulled my plugs, they all seemed to be somewhat fouled because it was running extremely rich with the other setup. So I cleaned them off the best I could and put them back in. Ive done multiple boost leak tests and I believe I have fixed every leak. Also Ive done a compression check and all cylinders are fine, the timing is at 15 bdc and I have the proper ngk plugs gapped at .035 Yesterday I went around cleaning numerous connections, and I also cleaned my MAS and air filter. I also installed my greddy profec b spec 2. I have been trying to tune the settings ( any advice would be appreciated). The car runs great at higher boost (above 10psi), but when I am driving normally it really bogs. This happens when i am at partial throttle (25%) driving like i normally would if I wasnt racing. From the moment it gets into positive boost until about 8 psi it is incredibly slow and feels faster if i was driving while the pressure was in vac before it even started to boost. Above this "bogging point" it runs fine, so it leads me to believe its not the plugs, but correct me if i'm wrong. Is it just the boost controller settings or is it something else? Also I've been trying to tune the controller at around 15psi for now and it will usually hit that then drop back down to 10psi or so then start to climb back up. When it hits 15psi it pulls nice and hard. Also, when I floor at starting at like 3000-3500 it spools really fast (sport 500's) up to 15psi then instantly drops back to around 9 or 10psi. Another thing i've noticed when I have the car parked and rev it to 2500 and keep it there for a few moments I hear a miss every few seconds. When I pull the coil connectors, all of the drivers side respond the same and you can really hear the change in engine, while the passenger side its hard to tell, and I only know the cylinder which I have the connector out is not firing when I rev the car up a little. When all are connected it sounds fine, so I have no idea what is causing the miss. ALSO I don't know if this has anything to do with it but my battery always drains out if it leave it sitting for a day, so every time I park the car I disconnect the pos terminal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks a ton. Christian
