| a wise choice. There are numerous cases cited here where the abuse to the oil pan during shipment causes problems far worse than a leak. Therefore, I strongly recommend replacing the oil pan (and pick up tube) if you want to avoid a possible oil starvation problem, or additional leaks. Assume for the moment that the oil pan is not dented and all is OK in that regard, I would not suggest using JB weld to fix the leak. Regular welding would probably be your best bet. But, I really think you're better off with replacing the oil pan. Good luck, Dave
