Message	try a jumper cable from the battery's negative terminal to a good ground contact point. Don't rule out the positive connection either. Just for grins - what does the battery voltage read at the terminals? It really does sound like some kind of wacko ground loop type issue? Did it just start doing this out of the blue or was something taken apart???
