I've pulled plenty or motors and have never used any special bolts. I have a plastic bin of bolts from cars I've parted out in the past. I'll usually just grab one that will thread in somewhere on the motor and put it through a chain. That or find on on the motor like on an AC or PS bracket, etc. If I'm just pulling a short block I'll use a headbolt sometimes. Hope this helps. JT:I am about ready to pull my engine out. I already tried to replace the head gasket w/o pulling the engine, but my fat hands can't get in there. :I am going to attach the longer bolts on the side of the engine, but I am not sure what grade bolts I need. :I found some at OSH, but they did not specify what grade. :Does anyone have a recommendation?
