Too make this short, couple months ago I installed my short block from kyle in my z. I have sport 500's that had about 5000 miles on them before rebuilding the engine. Look at my mods to see my setup. Ok since I put the engine in I have put about 2500 miles on it, at idle it is steady at 650 rpms but a little rought here and there. So I went ahead and rechecked all my hoses and connections, checked tps set it at .45v 4.0v at wot, checked my timming, set at 15 deg, car still has a rough idle, checked all injectors ohmed out perfect, check compression 158 all around, balance test was ok too. Car still idles the same way, now here is the odd part, after warming her up if i pin the throttle at about 2k for a couple of seconds and let off I get a lot of white smoke out the pipes. What could this be? Also I have my boost set to 15psi, when it hits 10 the needle gets stuck there for a bit and the jumps to 15 and stays there, there is no smoke on wot full boost, and no smoke when i lett off the gas, only at 2000rpm when the car is in neutral. I am completely stomped, cuz I have checked everything over and over again.
