after the instructor at the 2008 WCN autox drove my car to show me "lines", i thought from the burnt smell inside the car that he burned my clutch (%^@$!!). when we stopped after the run and picked up the time slip, he was having a hard time putting the car in 1st gear. on my time to run, i started the engine, the clutch pedal became light like it lost some pressure (like it's almost to the floor) and again, it was really hard to put it in 1st gear (or any gear). this issue seems to happen only in the beginning, but it's fine after. i drove the car yesterday and i encountered the same situation. does anybody know what part of the transmission has been damaged from burning the clutch? (gotdamnit, i should've just explored the best "lines" myself.) thanks!
