Thanks for the replies. So there's the cpu, the power steering/hicas(I bet the small plug is the HICAS, since my Z had the HICAS removal kit done on it) which is box 3 in the photos, the anti-theft, in foreground. I'd love to be able to dispense with the anti-theft device, as I feel it will probably just get me in trouble. I am working on a solution with Ravelco to help prevent theft, a simpler way, no electronics to fail and disable the car while on the road. I have no idea how to disable anti-theft. There was a post somewhere on the web about a red/grey wire that you ground. I think I found the wire but when grounded the starter became disabled at once. Ungrounding it again, the starter worked. This red/grey was near the anti-theft relay under the hood. I saw another post that you just unplug the anti=theft and it's gone. Then another saying, oh no, the car will not run without it. Hmmm. Interesting these Z cars. Mine has got a lot of power and I'm a silly old man 62, but it's somewhere in life you have to go there once in awhile, or just once! :) I"m sure others can relate to that, no? I've got an 84 z since 1990, and a 90 since 2007. The 90 is bright yellow with lots of mods, JWTurbos, CPU upgrade, GTC-2 in gunmetal, listen to me sling the bull here! hahah :It has two white nylon plug harnesses, one wider the other narrower. Is that the anti-theft? It is smaller than the CPU, about the size of a pocket novel. ?? It isn't labelled of course! bob
