I'm replacing the EFI wire harness without removing the manifold. Basically, all completed now after several day of painful removing parts and cutting the main trunk behind the engine. Anyway, one of the connector wire that mates the harness broke up due to aging. The wire goes down between the firewall and the engine and I cannot find where it is attached. It's going down near the EGR valve. Can someone identify where the wire is connected, presumably to some sensor. I first thought I could just splice the wire and reattach to the original connector but when I spliced I found only one wire. But the connector has 2 male pins. The connector is grey with rounded corner shape. The mating connector of the new harness is branched out from the passenger side harness that is for No. 1 and No. 2 injectors and coils. Can someone identify this mysterious wire/sensor?
