| it's the "crank shaft" The cam shaft seals and the front crank shaft seal the same. If you mixed them up don't worry about it as the 4 front camshaft seals and the front crank shaft seal is the same. The piece you are trying to remove is called the crank sproket. If you have seen the timing belt write up on here, it is mentioned that they become siezed and hard to remove. At this point don't risk damaging the oil pump and don't wedge a screw driver between the sproket and the pump. You need to purchase a die air grinder or a dremel tool with 2" cut off disks and cut that sproket off. Make sure you DON'T knick or damage the crank shaft. You need to make a slit down the sproket and wedge a screw driver between the slit and break the sproket. A new sproket will cost you $20. Don't tap it in toward the engine.
